UKIAH, Calif. – The city of Ukiah's Community Services Department is holding registration for a girls futsal class.  

Futsal is a fast paced and exciting variation of soccer played on a basketball sized court.

With emphasis on personal ball control and skill building, players will rotate from scrimmage on the court to courtside one on one coaching to learn and implement new skills immediately.   

Classes will be held from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Mondays and Wednesdays, March 4 through April 29, at the Ukiah High School Main Gym, and 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. Fridays, May 3 through May 31, at the Pomolita Middle School Gym.

Girls in grades seventh through 12th are invited to join.

The cost is $45 per child, with low income discounts available.
