NOTICE INVITING REQUESTS FOR QUALIFICATIONS FOR:
Architectural for the Design of the Carnegie Library Accessibility Upgrade Project
PUBLIC NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City of Lakeport is seeking a qualified Architect to provide design and construction documents for the creation of an accessible entrance and route to the second floor of the Carnegie Library Building located at 200 Park Street, Lakeport, CA.
Requests for qualifications must be received by the office of the City Clerk, 225 Park Street, Lakeport, CA 95453 by 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, June 16, 2016.

Accessibility improvements include related barrier removal and path-of- travel improvements as necessary to comply with minimum requirements of the Americans with Disabilities ACT (ADA), the California Building Code (CBC), the State Historical building Code, and elevating equipment compliant with CCR Title 8, Article 15.
Related path of travel improvements will include remodeling of adjacent rooms including the first floor men’s and women’s restroom facilities to provide two single occupant rooms, one fully accessible unisex restroom and one additional unisex restroom.
