NOTICE OF ELECTION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that a General Municipal Election will be held in the City of Clearlake on Tuesday, November 8, 2016, for the following Officers:

Three Members of the City Council-full term of four years.

The Candidate filing period begins on Monday, July 18, 2016 at 8:00 a.m. Candidate packets will be available in the City Clerk’s Office, 14050 Olympic Drive Clearlake, California.

You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to schedule an appointment time convenient to the Candidate’s schedule as the packet disbursal process will take approximately one hour.

The filing period continues to Friday, August 12, 2016, at 5:00 p.m. Should one or more incumbent Council Member(s) not file for re-election, the filing period is extended to 5:00 p.m., Wednesday, August 17, 2016 for non-incumbents.

If no one or only one person is nominated for each elective office, appointment to the elective office may be made as prescribed by Section 10229, Elections Code of the State of California.
