I strongly support Joey Luiz's candidacy for the Clearlake City Council.

Joey would bring to the council an impressive record of service to the residents of Clearlake, a deep understanding of the issues and challenges facing our city, and a demonstrated ability to bring people together to benefit our entire community.

After narrowly falling short in his reelection bid, Joey could have given up. But in a testament to his character and to his love for our city, he continued his service in the public sector by providing constituent services throughout Northern California – including right here in Lake County – for Ms. Fiona Ma, chair of the California Board of Equalization.

Given his breadth of experience serving the public and his proven devotion to our city, Joey is the best choice for the Clearlake City Council, and that's why I ask that you vote for Joey Luiz on Nov. 8.
