LAKEPORT, Calif. – This week the Board of Supervisors approved five community members to serve on the newly formed Scotts Valley Community Advisory Council.
District 4 Supervisor Tina Scott asked for and received the board’s unanimous approval of the five members for the council at the Tuesday morning meeting.
The applicants who were approved to sit on the council are Rhonda Armstrong, Robert Eisenhour, Tod Patten, Robert Ruddock and Karole Ward.
Scott said the new council is being formed to work on solutions for the flooding in the Scotts Valley area.
Later in the week, Scott reported that the advisory council’s first meeting has been scheduled for 5 p.m. Monday, April 24, at the Scotts Valley Woman’s Club House, located at 2298 Hendricks Road in Lakeport.
Scott said the agenda will include election of the board chair, vice chair and secretary.
They also will develop bylaws establishing the date, time and location of meetings; the rules and procedures of the council; and right-of-entry signatures.
