LAKEPORT, Calif. – The history of the Koopman and Asbill families, early settlers of the Middletown area, will be the subject of the next historic reading to be held on Saturday, Oct. 19.

The reading will take place at the Courthouse Museum, 255 N. Main St., Lakeport, beginning at 2 p.m. in the upstairs courtroom.

There is no admission charge and refreshments will be served.
