NOTICE OF DETERMINATION & PROPOSED GRADING PROJECT

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Community Development Director will consider the following: (1) issuing a complex grading permit (GR13-010) for the construction of a 285-acre vineyard at 25470 Guenoc Valley Road and 24245 & 24683 Bohn Valley Road, Middletown (APN 013-022-01, 02, & 05); (2) certifying that the County of Lake has reviewed and considered an Environmental Impact Report (EIR) for the proposed grading prepared by the State Water Resources Control Board based on the Guenoc Water Rights Modification Project; and (3) adopting a mitigation monitoring and reporting program for the project.  

The project applicant is Langtry Farms LLC.  

The EIR and all documents referenced in it are available for review at the State Water Resources Control Board, Division of Water Rights, 1001 I Street; Sacramento, CA, 95812.  

The proposed complex grading permit conditions of approval are available for review at the Lake County Community Development Department, 255 N. Forbes St, Lakeport, CA, 95453.  The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the adequacy of the EIR will start on February 21, 2013 and end on March 25, 2013.  

The Community Development Director will consider issuing the permit on March 26, 2013.
