KELSEYVILLE, Calif. – Lake County is full of wonderful bakers who research and test their recipes all year long.
This year's Pear Dessert Contest, held in conjunction with the Kelseyville Pear Festival, once again showed off that talent.
The grand winner this year was Rebecca Molloy, Kelseyville native and current resident, winning with “Becca’s Overnight Pear Fritter Bread.”
Molloy does home baking as a hobby, to the delight of her family. She describes them as her finest critics as she experiments with new recipes throughout the year.
She is active in her community serving as a volunteer two days a week at the Kelseyville Senior Center.
