MENDOCINO NATIONAL FOREST, Calif. – The Mendocino National Forest will again welcome the Cowbell Enduro motorcycle event.
This 71st annual running, to be held on Saturday, Nov. 4, will begin at 8 a.m. and end at approximately 7 p.m. at the Middle Creek Campground staging area on the Upper Lake Ranger District in Upper Lake.
The enduro is a time-and-distance event which travels across 95 miles of designated off-highway vehicle routes as well as high-clearance (level 2) roads.
The course is not closed, which means that all roads and trails used during the event remain open to the public and are subject to two-way traffic.
For this reason, riders who are not part of the event should exercise extreme caution when enjoying routes used by participants.
