LUCERNE, Calif. – The Lucerne Area Town Hall will hold its next meeting on Thursday, Nov. 21.

The meeting begins at 7 p.m. at the Lucerne Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive.

Agenda items include a report from Northshore Fire Protection District; an update from Supervisors Eddie Crandell on the special joint meeting with the Board of Supervisors and the city councils on Oct. 31 about the public safety power shutoffs; a presentation on a Lucerne town beautification clean up campaign; and discussion of organizing block captains for safety checks on elderly, infirm and isolated residents during emergencies, including power outages.

The town hall also will discuss festival ideas and consider advising the county to update its marketing site pertaining to Lucerne.
