CLEARLAKE, Calif. – The community is invited to the Rotary Club of Clear Lake’s 27th annual Community Christmas Dinner & Celebration on Saturday, Dec. 14.
The dinner will take place from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in the Burns Valley School multipurpose room, 3520 Pine St., Clearlake.
A warm, delicious meal will be prepared and served by one of Lake County’s most generous service clubs, the Rotary Club of Clear Lake.
The meal is free for all who wish to attend. Attendees will receive a nutritious and delicious ham dinner with all the trimmings.
Children will get to visit Santa and his elves, where they will receive a souvenir photo and a toy.
The Warm for the Winter program will be on hand with items to warm your body and soul. The program offers free new and gently used coats, winter clothing, sleeping bags, and blankets. These items are also free of charge. Thank you to Joyce Overton for starting this program and Charmaine Weldon for continuing it on behalf of the Rotary Club of Clear Lake.
In addition, Worldwide Healing Hands, led by Dr. Paula Dhanda, along with medical and community volunteers will offer free health screenings and referrals to attendees of the Rotary Club of Clear Lake’s Community Christmas Dinner & Celebration.
