LAKEPORT, Calif. – Hospice Services of Lake County welcomes Beth Havrilla as the organization’s new community relations/fund development coordinator.

Havrilla will be responsible for implementing fund development, community relations, and marketing activities as well as overseeing special events that promote the agency and the benefits of compassionate care provided by the agency.

Havrilla joins the Hospice Services team with 13 years of experience in event management with her company, Lake Event Design and Party Rental.

She has owned businesses in Lake County for more than 23 years having started in the insurance industry.

Havrilla comes to Hospice with many years of experience in all aspects of private and corporate event management including but not limited to fundraising events.

“As a successful small business owner, great customer service and community relations have been my No. 1 priority,” said Havrilla.

She is a 23-year member and 2018-19 past-president of the Rotary Club of Lakeport, a 16-year member of Delta-Iota Tau Sorority and most recently was certified as a Lake County Tourism Ambassador.

“I have worked closely with Hospice Services over the last 12 years, assisting with various events,” Havrilla said. “I am supportive of its mission so this is a comfortable fit for all. This seems like the perfect opportunity to combine my experience as a local event business owner and life-time Lake County resident to promote Hospice Care here in Lake County.”

Havrilla and her husband Jeff started Lake Event Design in 2008. Jeff Havrilla will be on hand at the Lake Event showroom which will be open by appointment only until Phase 4 of the Lake County reopening plan is implemented.

In the meantime, plans are under way for upcoming Hospice events such as the annual Wings of Hope Bereavement Camp, “Dine Out for Restaurants – sponsored by Hospice” and “Festival of Trees.” More details will follow as dates are secured.

Hospice Services of Lake County provides the highest quality medical, emotional and spiritual care to help patients and their families navigate their end-of-life journeys.
