LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – On Nov. 8, 2017, the skies were gray and rain fell from the Angels’ eyes as they came to gather Arthur E. Sherbourne.

“Art” was an adventurous soul and loved to travel with his wife, Lila. They enjoyed going on their hunting or fishing trips and would even turn a trip for two into a traveling adventure and visit family or friends.

Art loved to spend time with his family and friends; almost as much as he loved to watch his Raiders and Dodger games.

He was the youngest child of Harold “Turk” and Gladys Sherbourne who he now joins in the heavens above.

To carry on for him, he leaves his wife, Lila; son, Steve; adoptive son, Carl; two stepdaughters, Shelly (Paul) Gronnert and Tracy (Larry) Clark; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

The Sherbourne family along with Art’s friends will be sending him off to his greatest adventure on Dec. 1, with a visitation from 2 to 6 p.m. at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake, and a celebration of life service on Dec. 2 at 3 p.m. at Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel. Please join us in sharing your condolences and memories of Arthur E. Sherbourne.

Arrangements entrusted to Jones & Lewis Clear Lake Memorial Chapel in Lower Lake, FD800 707-994-6417. Please share your condolences and memories at www.jonesandlewis.com.
