LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Yolanda “Yo” “Yo-Yo” Blocher Knight was lifted by the angels to our Lord in heaven above on Oct. 30, 2019.

Born March 24, 1983, to proud parents, Richard Knight and Yolanda Knight Paciocco, she was raised in Lakeport, California, and graduated in 2001 from Clear Lake High School.

She was a devoted and loving mother of four beautiful children, Hannah, age 14, Alexis, age 12, Vincent, age 9, and Casey, age 7. Her life was first and foremost dedicated to raising and providing a loving home for her children.

Her closeness to family and friends and her genuine ability to love unconditionally came from her strong Faith in God. Her humor was refreshing and her smile infectious, wise beyond her years, everyone valued her advice.

Her kindness was unbiased and she saw every person for their potential and not their faults. This was evident as often times lines were formed along the walls at her business, Morgan’s Barber Shop, all wanting to get in her chair, not only for the great haircut, but to be blessed with her inspiring words. Walking out always better than they arrived!

Giving so freely and easily for her family and friends, Yo showed up, she participated and never hesitated to help in any way she could.

Our Angel Yo is survived by her four loving children; father, Richard; mother, Yolanda; the love of her life, fiancé Javier Castanades; her brothers and sisters, Richard Knight and Karen, Brian and Natalie Knight, Adriane Corona Villela Knight and Pancho, Patricia Knight Alvarado and Sergio, Michael Knight and Katie, Brittani Walker, Sierra Bullman; many, many “other sisters,” nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, uncles and so many friends, you know who you are, and Yo cherished all of you.

As an Angel among us and in her giving nature Yo was also an organ donor and continued to bless others as she left our world by saving three adult lives and four newborn babies.

God bless our Yo-Yo, she has been taken into the loving arms of others who have passed before us, her grandparents, Vincent and Elizabeth Paciocco, Grandpa Obie Knight, Grandma Jan and Bill Bostick, and her uncles, Jimmy Knight, Henry Paciocco and Lou Paciocco.

We will take comfort knowing you are among the Angels watching over us. We will miss your beautiful smile and your unconditional love, the incredible memories we shared with you will be imprinted in our hearts forever more!

A celebration of Yo’s life will be held on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 2 p.m., at 5450 Sabin Road in Kelseyville.

In lieu of flowers a trust, “Love for Yo-Yo’s Loves,” has been set up at Umpqua Bank to benefit her kids and/or contact Holly Schneider at Kelseyville Brewery, Main Street in Kelseyville, with any gifts, gift cards anything that can directly help the children during this difficult time.

If anyone has something they'd like to share about YoYo, whether funny, heartwarming or how she touched your lives, we'd be honored to hear them. Also following the celebration of life there will be food and music because Yolanda would want us to be smiling!
