LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The highlight of the year for the 50-voice Zion Choir comes when they travel from the Bay Area to spend the weekend in Lakeport.
They stay at the Clear Lake Bed and Breakfast enjoying all water activities the lake has to offer on Saturday, May 19, then they perform a free concert on Sunday, May 20, at 5 p.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel, located at 600 16th St. in Lakeport.
This will be their 11th year performing in Lakeport.
Zion also will perform special musical numbers earlier on Sunday during the 9 a.m. church services.
