HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – The HVL Men's Niners Golf Club held a low net (sweeps) competition on Thursday May 17.
The results were:
- First flight: Al Burrows, Bob Brossier, and Bendi Bendinelli tied for the top spot at net 34.
- Second flight: Ron Clark was first with 34. Bill Surber and Jeff Markham tied for second with 35. Third flight: Bill Lyon and Ben Kennedy tied for first with the lowest nets of the day, 31. Bill Ferris was third at 32.
- Fourth flight: Brian Panizzera and Dennis Day tied for first with 33. Sterling Bright was third at 34.
Closest to the par 3 pins were Paul Bertlin and Rick Conrad.
Chip-ins were scored by Wayne Baker, Phil Tyler, and Bill Lyon for an eagle on No. 15.
Fifty men participated in the day's competitions.
