May 9 hearing on proposed general plan amendment and rezone of certain properties

NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING AND NEGATIVE DECLARATION

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on application GPAP 11-02 and Rezone RZ 11-02 proposing a General Plan Amendment and Rezone that encompasses the following properties:

1. APN 002-024-20, 12560 Bachelor Valley Road, Witter Springs. Rezone from “O” Open Space to “RL” Rural Lands, and General Plan Amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

2. APN 002-047-19, 11856 Elk Mountain Road, Upper Lake. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

5. APN 007-005-28 and 29; 4500 and 4330 State Highway 175, Lakeport. Rezone from Agricultural Preserve Special Lot Size, to “RL” Rural Lands.

6. APN 007-006-27, 7527 Highland Springs Road, Lakeport. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

7. APN 008-002-03, and 008-003-07; 960 and 988 Soda Bay Road, Lakeport. Rezone from “APZ” to “O.”

8. APN 010-009-31, 19896 E. State Highway 20, Clearlake Oaks. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and a General Plan amendment from Public Facilities to Rural Lands.

9. APN 010-012-04, 21755 E. State Highway20, Clearlake Oaks. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and a General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

10. APN 011-002-11, 13 and 14; 12319 and 12075 and 11998 Adobe Creek Road, Lakeport. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

11. APN 011-003-45 and 46; 10600 Peterson Lane and 9815 Adobe Creek Road Kelseyville. Rezone from “O to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Rural Lands.

12. APN 0l l-004-49 and 50; 9244 and 9250 Kelsey Creek Drive, Kelseyville. Rezone from “O” to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Resource Conservation to Rural Lands.

13. APN 016-032-07, 22320 Bartlett Springs Road, Lucerne. Rezone from “APZ” to “RL” and General Plan amendment from Agricultural to Rural Lands.

14. APN 024-171-08, 5250 State St., Kelseyville. Rezone from “O” Open Space to “Rl” Single-Family Residential and General Plan amendment from Public Lands to Low Density Residential.

15. APN 032-182-04, and 032-265-01; 3826 and 3796 Lakeshore Blvd., Nice. Rezone from “CR” Commercial Resort, to “R3” Multi-Family Residential and General Plan amendment from Commercial Resort to High Density Residential.

16. APN 032-321-20, 3946 E. State Highway 20, Nice. General Plan amendment of a portion of the lot from Resource Conservation to Local Commercial.

The proposed negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport, CA, twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available ten (10) days before the hearing.

The review period during which the Community Development Department will receive comments on the proposed negative declaration will start on April l7 and end at the hearing on May 9, 2013. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on May 9, 2013, at 9:05 a.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.

If you challenge the action of the Planning Commission on any of the above stated items in court, it may be limited to only those issues raised at the public hearing` described in this notice, or in written correspondence delivered to the Lake County Planning Commission at, or prior to, the public hearing.
