The Lake County Amateur Radio Society will be hosting an operations day in Lucerne May 3.

The event will be held Saturday May 3 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lucerne Community Church in the Fellowship Hall located at 5870 East Highway 20 in Lucerne.

Ham Radio Operations day is designed to assist HAM operators and the general public to learn more about HAM radio operation.

The group invites people who are already Ham Radio Operators as well as those who are considering Ham or would like to learn more.

It is open to all levels of Ham Radio operators, licensed or not.

People with questions about or issues with their radios should bring their radio and manual to the event to receive expert assistance.

A raffle for a handheld Ham radio will be held.
