LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Local Lake County band Whispering Light plays the New Legends Concert Series sponsored by Coors and Turnstyle Music Group at the Ella Lounge in East Village-New York City on Saturday, Aug. 9, at 6:30 p.m.
“We're very excited to have been invited by Turnstyle Music Group and to work with them further by representing us to sophisticated New York City and San Francisco venues,” said Lindy Day, lead guitarist for Whispering Light.
Whispering Light is the combined talents of two multi-instrumentalists, Lindy Day and Kevin Village-Stone. Award-winning guitarist Lindy Day plays acoustic, classical, and electric guitars as well as blues jazz saxophone.
Nationally-acclaimed Kevin Village-Stone plays Native American flutes, bass guitars, and keyboards. Day and Village-Stone compose, arrange, and record their own original material both as soloists and as a duet.
Upon returning home to Lake County, Whispering Light is scheduled to play at the Living Made Easy Fashion Entertainment show, Rising Stars Music Competition, Spirits on the Loch Festival, and a return to Featherbed Railroad and Twin Pine Casino.
Dates and times are on the band's Web site at www.WhisperingLight.com .
“After packing the house at Turning Point in Piermont New York, we're looking forward to making an East Coast tour an annual event,” said Stone. “We're especially grateful to Paul Jr with Twice As Good who encouraged us to self-book our own tour. His advice led us to this great opportunity with Coors and Turnstyle.”
