LAKEPORT, Calif. – This week the Board of Supervisors will consider a construction services agreement and a grant deed for an easement, and present several proclamations.
The board will meet beginning at 9 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the board chambers on the first floor of the Lake County Courthouse, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport. At 9:10 a.m., the board will present proclamations designating the month of September 2014 as Adult Literacy Awareness Month, Childhood Cancer Awareness Month and Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
In an untimed item, the board will consider an agreement – in the amount of $248,000 – between the county of Lake and Quincy Engineering Inc. for construction management services for the Soda Bay Road at Cole Creek Bridge Replacement Project near Kelseyville.
The board also will consider a grant deed for a public road easement to the city of Clearlake for the Dam Road Extension Project. That item also is untimed.

CONSENT AGENDA
7.1: Adopt resolution fixing tax rates for local agencies, general obligation bonds and other voter approved indebtedness for fiscal year 14/15.
7.2: Approve agreement between the county of Lake and Modesto Residential Living Center LLC for Adult Residential Care Services for fiscal year 2014-15, in the amount of $35,000, and authorize the chair to sign.
7.3: Adopt proclamation designating the month of September 2014 as Alcohol and Drug Addiction Recovery Month.
7.4: Approve contract between the county of Lake and Adventist Health, St. Helena Hospital Clear Lake for the services of county eligibility workers, V01, for the period of July 1, 2014 through June 30, 2017, in the amount of $70,276.40 annually, and authorize the chair to sign.
7.5: Approve contract between the county of Lake and Lake Family Resource Center for child abuse prevention, intervention and treatment (CAPIT) services, for the duration of five years, in the amount of $70,000, and authorize the chair to sign.
7.6: Adopt proclamation designating the month of September 2014 as Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
7.7: Approve contract between the county of Lake and the Office of Administrative Hearings, for a maximum amount of $48,000 annually for a period of five years, and authorize the chair to sign.
7.8: Adopt proclamation designating the month of September 2014 as Adult Literacy Awareness Month.
7.9: Approve contract between the county of Lake and Pathologist, Dr. Jacqueline Benjamin, M.D., for autopsy services, in the amount of $150,000, and authorize the chair to sign.
