GLENHAVEN, Calif. – Authorities are investigating the disappearance of a young woman who has been staying in Glenhaven.
Noelle Lenz, 26, has been missing since Wednesday, Oct. 28, according to her cousin, Amy Wexler, who lives in Massachusetts.
Wexler said Lenz was last seen in her white 2001 Jeep Cherokee, which also has not been seen since Oct. 28.
Lenz was reported to have gone to meet a man – who may possibly be from Willits – to pick up a camera, Wexler said.
Of particular concern for those who know her is that Lenz left behind her phone, laptop and dog.
The phone was found on the floor of Lenz's Glenhaven residence, said Wexler, who added that the phone has since been turned over to the Lake County Sheriff's Office.
Lt. Steve Brooks confirmed to Lake County News on Monday that Lenz was reported to the sheriff's office as a missing person.
Brooks said sheriff's detectives are investigating Lenz's disappearance.
“They are following all leads at this point,” Brooks said.
Lenz is a tattoo model who also has gone under the names Noelle Shofner, Carrina Vargas and Carrina Suicide.
She has studied psychology and was pursuing a job as a social worker in Lake County, for which she was due to have tested on Saturday in Lower Lake, according to posts on her Instagram account.
Lenz is 4 feet 11 inches tall, weighs around 90 pounds, and has black hair and brown eyes, according to the description given by family. Other descriptions of her that have been circulated since her disappearance state she is 5 feet, 4 inches tall and 98 pounds.
In online profiles she described herself as being of Chinese, German and Mexican descent.
She has tattoo sleeves to the neck and a small umbrella tattoo under her left eye.
The California license plate for Lenz's Jeep Cherokee is 5YFT845.
Anyone with information about Noelle Lenz's whereabouts is asked to call the Lake County Sheriff's Office at 707-263-2690.
