NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Planning Commission of the County of Lake, State of California, will hold a public hearing on applications GPAP 07-09 and RZ 07-17 proposing a general plan amendment of 5.5 acres from Suburban Residential Reserve to Commercial Resort and 59 acres from Suburban Residential Reserve to Agricultural and a rezone from “U” Unclassified to “CR” Commercial Resort and “A” Agriculture. The applicant further requests a major use permit UP 07-15 for a 4,000 case winery with tasting, delicatessen, 7-room country inn and 300-seat amphitheatre. The project applicant is John Patrick Robertson.
The Planning Commission will consider adoption of a Mitigated Negative Declaration for this project based on Initial Study IS 07-48. The project is located at 1780 State Highway 53, Clearlake, CA and further described as APN 010-003-33. The proposed mitigated negative declaration will be available for review at the Community Development Department in the Lake County Courthouse, 255 North Forbes Street, Lakeport, California twenty (20) days before the hearing, and the staff report will be available 10 days before the hearing. The public hearing will be held in the Board of Supervisors’ Chamber in the Courthouse on April 10, 2008 at 9:35 a.m., at which time and place interested persons may attend and be heard.
