Members of the Mobile Home Task Force (MHTF) are holding meetings at Lake County senior centers during January and February. Park owners are polling their members and the mobile home owner members of the task force has been asked by Supervisor Anthony Farrington to poll mobile home owners to see what they think about long-term rental agreements versus a rent stabilization ordinance.
MHTF also needs to know whether occupant rents are being increased this year. Participants are asked to bring whatever information they have about rent increases. Also, please let us know about problems concerning managers and owners of parks.
All meetings will start at 10 a.m. The group will meet at the Highlands Senior Center in Clearlake on Wednesday, Jan. 31.
