Sutter Lakeside to present workshop on living with change

LAKEPORT – Change has always been a necessary aspect of life and work, and our world is changing more rapidly than ever.

It is likely that you will have to cope with a variety of changes in the near future. Your success and fulfillment – your emotional, mental, spiritual and physical well-being – depend on how well you adapt to change.

Sutter Lakeside Hospital and Center for Health will be hosting “Living with Change: Tools for Transformation,” a two-hour workshop led by nationally recognized change management consultant and speaker Judith Lukomski, from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 4.

In this interactive and informative session participants will gain a better understanding of how they react to anticipated and unexpected change (their change personality), the way it currently affects their life, and learn tools to remove barriers to personal, organizational, and community success.

The workshop will also look at the change cycle. Lukomski suggests that understanding the change cycle can help in every area of life as people react, respond and adjust differently to change.

Business and community leaders are encouraged to attend in addition to any individual who would like to learn how to effectively manage uncertainty and change.
