Terrace Middle School eighth grade parents will host a mystery dinner on Saturday, Feb. 28, to raise funds for student graduation activities.
Parent volunteer Toni Funderburg, the event organizer, said she has hosted mystery dinners for auction winners at local area charity fundraisers before.
The theme for the mystery, which will include parts for 20 specific characters and general parts among just 80 diners, is a “Murder High Class Reunion of the Class of 85.”
The soiree will include 1980s music and dancing after the “murder” is solved. Drinks reminiscent of the era also will be available.
Those interested in attending must purchase tickets by Valentine’s Day. This allows time to send out the character descriptions, the reunion news and allows time for the classmates to arrange their costumes for their roles.
Tickets may be purchased for $35 by adults only from Funderburg at her office at Lakeport Tire and Auto at 1901 S. Main St. in Lakeport during regular business hours.
For additional information contact Toni Funderburg or Julie Perry at 263-5422.
