Kelsang Wangpo, an American Buddhist Monk, will lead a Refuge Ceremony and Retreat. Before the Ceremony he will provide an explanation of Buddhist refuge during a special Day Course. The Day Course will include an explanation of the Three Jewels of Buddhism - Buddha, Dharma, and Sangha - and the concept of going for refuge to these Three Jewels. Following that, he will walk through the refuge vows themselves, explaining the vows and how to practice them in daily life.
Optional Vow Ceremony follows the day course. A refuge retreat will occur the following week.
