LAKE COUNTY PEACE RALLY on SATURDAY MARCH 17.In conjunction with the ANSWER coalition mass march on Washington marking both the fourth anniversary of the Bush administration's invasion of Iraq AND the 40th anniversary of the 1967 march on the Pentagon Lake County Youth Action is organizing a rally in Lucerne Harbor Park starting at 2PM, with the theme, "Shut Down the War Machine." These are the same young activists who took part in the "World Can't Wait" walkout at Upper Lake High School last October. This time the central feature of the demonstration is going to be dialogue: "we encourage people across the political spectrum to join us for an open mike and a discussion about war."
