County staff and Mt. Konocti volunteers need your ideas to help create Mt. Konocti’s Master Plan. Through a series of public meetings we will develop policies and procedures, as well as resource and fire management plans for the use of Mt. Konocti. Restrictions that come with the sale of the property include day use only, except by special arrangements, no motorized vehicles, except by authorized use and preservation and conservation of the mountain. Your involvement is vital to the success and future of Mt. Konocti and a master plan is a critical step to have in place before the trails are opened to the public later this year.
