The Lake County Stonewall Democratic Club will hold its next meeting on Monday, Sept. 28.
The group will meet at 6:30 p.m. for potluck and with the meeting to follow at 7 p.m. at the Redbud Library, Conference Room, 14785 Burns Valley Road in Clearlake.
With the second anniversary of the Stonewall Democratic Club approaching, and the resignation of its founders, Harold Riley and Bill Berkey, new officers will be elected in November.
At its September and October meetings, members have the opportunity to file their intentions to run as candidates for chair, vice chair, secretary, treasurer and assistant treasurer.
The club is open to all Democratic Party, LGBT members, and their friends and allies.
