Sunday March 21st at Galilee Lutheran Church, 8860 Soda Bay Road at the 10:00 AM worship service the topic will be "The Practical Side of Discipleship." Marla Vickery, of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans, will present a short overview of the fraternal organization's involvement with community action and support, including Habitat for Humanity, the Free Kitchen Project, emergency funding, and more. She will be available after the service to answer questions. Jim Coomes will speak on "Our Path to Glory," the practical demands of being a disciple of Christ. How IS the church the hands and feet of Christ in our world? We welcome and invite you to join us.
Sunday school will be held at 9:00 AM for the children. Adult bible study is also at 9:00 AM and repeated at 11:30 AM with a continuation of the video “The New Testament” followed by discussion.
Lenten service Wednesday at 7:00 March 24th. Explore the possibilities of prayer. How do we pray? Is there a right way and a wrong way? What do we expect from prayer?
