Adult Day Care fundraiser Print

Adult Day Care/Respite of Clearlake will hold its annual Scandinavian fundraiser dinner on Saturday, May 19. Two dinner sittings, at 5 p.m. and 6 p.m., will be held at St. John's Lutheran Church, 143l0 Memory Lane, just off Olympic Drive in Clearlake.


Specialties will include Swedish meatballs, baked salmon, herring/shrimp, potatoes, salads, cheese, eggs, lefsa and breads, and Scandinavian cookies. The donation is $35 per person, which includes a $5 raffle ticket. Tickets for children ages 11 years and under cost $7.50. Donations are tax-deductible.


The raffle includes gift certificates, two quilts made in Alaska and donated by friends, a beautiful Rosemaling piece and other items, plus door prizes at both seatings.


Reservations are required because of the limited space. Call Adult Day Care Director Eva Johnson, 279-4836, to reserve your seat.
