Inside Job is a super-well-made documentary that just won the Oscar for Best Documentary, 2011!  It explains the entire financial catastrophe, which encompassed the entire globe, and makes it all very comprehensible.

Of equal importance, at least, is the evening's presentation by Carol Cole-Lewis on Time Banking.  She will share basic information, plus the exciting Time Banking opportunity related to Transition Lake County, right here at home.  There ARE alternatives to playing the financier's giant Ponzi scheme, a game extremely stacked in their favor.

Matt Damon's narration sets the tone, which is NOT doom and gloom, but a serious, sometimes quietly amused assessment of the sick system that drives most of our lives.  We meet financiers who, on camera, cannot comprehend why they should feel guilty that millions of regular US citizens have lost their homes due to their own greedy, unregulated behavior.  Goverment officials connive with them.  Neither group comprehends the term, "moral hazard".  

This film shares information that allows us to understand the only financial system we've grown up with.  With understanding CAN come freedom from that system.  And the information following this superb film will offer a truly viable alternative.
