NICE, Calif. – The Lake County Democratic Party will hold a Democratic candidate event, “Our Community, Our Voice, Our Vote,” on Saturday, May 5. The event will take place from 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Sons of Italy Hall, 2817 E. Highway 20 in Nice.
Special guests planning to attend are Congressman John Garamendi, candidate for the new Congressional District 3; Assemblymember Mariko Yamada, candidate for State Assembly District 4. There also will be local Democratic candidates, including Victoria Brandon, candidate for Lake County Board of Supervisors' District 1 seat; Anthony Farrington, who represents District 4 on the Board of Supervisors and is seeking re-election, and his challenger, Fred Langston; Joan Moss, candidate for the Board of Supervisors' District 5 seat, as well as Lake County Superior Court Department 1 judicial candidates Judy Conard, Mike Friel, Susan Krones and Mike Lunas.
