AMERICAN CANYON, Calif. – Congressmen Mike Thompson (CA-1) and George Miller (CA-7) will host a veterans resource fair this Monday, June 25.
The fair will be held beginning at 8:30 a.m. at American Canyon High School, 3000 Newell Drive. Parking is available
At the event, local veterans will hear from and meet with representatives from local VA Medical Centers, the VA Oakland Regional Office, and other federal agencies that offer services and benefits to veterans.
Guests also will be invited to participate in breakout sessions led by local experts covering issues affecting jobs and employment; post traumatic stress disorder; veterans housing; veterans education benefits; and women veterans. Registration is free and open to all veterans.
