LAKEPORT, Calif. – Clear Lake Scullers will host a youth middle school program that will focus on using paddle boards, kayaks and canoes, the week of Monday, July 2, at the boat yard in Lakeport near Main and Sixth Street down by the water.
The program will start at 10:30 a.m. each day. No camp will be held on Wednesday, July 4.
Club membership, which is $100 for the summer, includes sweep rowing classes, the use of the CLS indoor rowing machines and all sculls, sweep boats, canoes, kayaks and paddle boats at the boat yard. Youth must have basic swimming skills to participate. The youth program is $40 per child with some scholarship money available.
