HIDDEN VALLEY LAKE, Calif. – Representatives from Anderson Marsh Interpretive Association (AMIA) will discuss efforts to prevent the closure of Anderson Marsh State Historic Park ( http://www.parks.ca.gov/?page_id=483 ) and ensure that classroom education and park access remain available to the public at the Monday, Aug. 13, meeting of the Hidden Valley Lake Garden Club.
The HVL Garden Club meets in the activity room of the HVLA administrative building, 18174 Hidden Valley Road. Social gathering with refreshments begins at 9:30 a.m., followed by meeting and program at 10 a.m.
Details of programs and upcoming events at the park will be outlined as well as ways that Lake County residents can become involved in maintaining this important ecological and historic resource.
All meetings of the Hidden Valley Lake Garden Club are open to the public. The organization meets on the second Monday of each month.
