The Lake County Democratic Club will host two candidates for Northshore school boards at its Sept. 8 regular meeting.
The meeting starts at noon at the Lucerne Alpine Senior Center, 3985 Country Club Drive. The Lucerne Senior Center serves breakfast from 8 a.m. to noon for $6.
Annie Barnes, candidate for Upper Lake High School Board, and Kay Hancock, candidate for Lucerne Elementary School Board will discuss their candidacies. A third candidate for Upper Lake High School Board, Dawn Binns, has not confirmed.
There also will be an update on other candidates running for local school and utility boards for the November 6, 2007 election.
Club meetings are open to all, membership is open to registered Democrats.
