The time has come to begin the fall meetings of the Clear Lake Trowel and Trellis Garden Club.
The first meeting will be at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, Sept. 18, at the Scotts Valley Clubhouse, with an opportunity to view the slide show from the butterfly event.
At noon there will be an orientation by Chairman Pam Held for new and current members or any others who might wish to join. Social time begins at 12:30 p.m. with hostesses June Dye, Sue Gardner-Neumann and Diane Neilson.
The business meeting begins at 1 p.m., at which time Celeste Deter, program chair, will announce fair exhibits and winnings by individuals and the Trowel and Trellis Garden Club, which is a member of the Mendo-Lake District California Garden Clubs, Inc., Pacific Region and the National Garden Club Inc. Club State Awards will be presented by Co-Chairman Jo Shaul.
The Sunflower Contest ends, so bring your sunflower if entered. The new yearbook will be available also.
