The Lake County Farm, Home, and 4-H Foundation is proud to announce their second fundraising dinner to benefit the Lake County 4-H Youth Development Program.
The event will be held on Nov. 10 in the Little Theater Building at the Lake County Fairgrounds on Martin Street in Lakeport.
This year's dinner will be professionally catered by Beth Keiffer and will be accompanied by the comedic murder mystery "Murder in the Old Wild West" performed by Gibson House Mystery Performers.
The evening will begin with a no-host social hour at 5 p.m., with dinner being served promptly at 6 p.m.
After dinner, longtime 4-H supporters Jim and Gail Jonas will be honored, followed by dancing to local favorites L.C. Diamonds, comprised of Shaun Hornby, Jon Hopkins, Richard Knoll, Dave Hagberg and Mark Buehnerkemper.
The Lake County Farm, Home, and 4-H Foundation is a diverse group of community members organized to support the programs of the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) in Lake County.
The foundation's mission is to plan, develop, and execute activities to benefit UCCE programs in agriculture, natural resources, youth development (4-H), and family and consumer sciences. These programs benefit our entire community by expanding opportunities for current and future generations. A strong UCCE presence preserves the connection between the state's most renowned educational and research university system and the values and traditions of rural life.
The Foundation Board of Directors includes Rob Brown (chair), Jim Comstock, Naomi Bruce, Rachel Elkins, Steve Brookes, Margaret Eutenier, Julie Frazell, Greg Giusti, Chuck March and David Weiss.
Tickets for this special occasion are $75 each or $600 for a table of eight.
