The Lower Lake Watershed Council will hold their first meeting of 2007 from 6 to 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 16, in the Science Room at Carle Continuation High School, 9345 Winchester St., Lower Lake (the Science Room is the last door on the right from the main entrance). The group will get their first view of a new logo designed especially for them by one of Carle's very talented students. Activities and goals for 2007 also will be reviewed and discussed. All residents of the Lower Lake area and interested community members are invited to attend. Get 2007 off to a great start by attending this meeting, and discovering what you can do to improve and preserve the watershed! They look forward to seeing you there.
