Are you looking for a place where the whole family can have lots of fun on Wednesday, October 31?
If so, look no further than the Hidden Valley Community Church's 17th Annual Harvest Party. There will be lots of games, candy, fun mystery house, contests, puppet show, chili cook off, raffle prizes (including a new bicycle) and more.
At last year's event folks were asked to guess the weight of a huge pumpkin and were treated to some line dancing in addition to the regular food and games. This year, the church plans to raffle off a new bicycle, conduct a chili cook off and introduce a fun mystery house.
There may be some additional surprises added before the special once-a-year event arrives. There may even be some very special guests in attendance – some in costume, some not.
The fun and festivities are scheduled to begin at 6 p.m. and continue until 8:30 p.m. This event is free and open to the general public. Families with small children are encouraged to attend. While RSVP’ing is not required, the public is encouraged to RSVP as it helps the church in its preparation.
A Squidoo online lens and an Evite invitation have been created to help spread news of the harvest party and keep a record of possible attendees. People interested in attending this party are encouraged to RSVP by going to www.squidoo.com/HVCC, clicking on the Evite invitation and following the instructions. You may be surprised to see who has taken the time to RSVP. Feel free to add your name and a comment.
