A special meeting in November will look at the quagga mussel and its threat to Clear Lake.
The meeting will take place beginning at 7 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 8, at the Board of Supervisors Chambers, 255 N. Forbes St., Lakeport.
The public workshop will look at options to prohibit the spread of the quagga mussel in Clear Lake.
The Lake County Fish and Wildlife Advisory Committee, the University of California Cooperative Extension and Lake County's Public Works Department are co-sponsoring the meeting.
