Members of the Clearlake City Council, Planning Commission, city staff and police department would like to extend a very special invitation to the children of the community to participate in the city's annual Halloween Party.
The corridors of City Hall will be magically transformed into the enchantment of the season. City staff will masquerade in mystical attire which will add to the ambiance of the occasion. Even parents may find themselves drawn into the atmosphere of illusion. Cameras are welcome, as parents may want to capture the magical moments within City Hall's corridors.
City staff will be busy conjuring up scrumptious edibles to be enjoyed by all. Reflective trick or treat bags will be given to kids to help guide them safely through their adventures of the evening, as they embark on their night of gathering treats from door to door. Imprinted on the bags are the words “Don't be tricked – drugs are no treat!” to help celebrate Red Ribbon month in conjunction with local schools.
Please join the city as it promotes a safe Halloween for the community's children. Festivities begin at on 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 31, and last until 5:30 p.m.
Location: Clearlake City Hall is located at 14050 Olympic Drive. Contact: Clearlake City Hall, 707-994-8201.
