CLEARLAKE, Calif. – Always entertaining, God’s Country Band returns to the Clearlake Church of the Nazarene with two free performances.

On Saturday, Oct. 29, from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m., the band brings country music with a gospel message in a 90-minute performance open to the community. No admission is charged but an offering will be requested.

On Sunday morning, Oct. 30, at 10:45 a.m. the band supplements worship services for the Nazarene congregation, invited friends and family, and the Clearlake community.

God’s Country Band calls Yuba City home and is a family-oriented Country Gospel Band featuring Tim Stout Sr. on drums, his Brother-in-Law Randy Mills on lead guitar and vocals, Tim Stout Jr. on bass, brother Michael Stout with lead vocals, and John Nordahl on keyboards.

“We believe we have been called by the Lord into a music ministry, we take that very seriously,” said Michael Stout. “We feel our ministry is two-fold. First and most important is to get lost souls saved. Secondly, we seek to bless and entertain our Christian brothers and sisters.”

The group is adamant about feeling blessed with the talent God has given them, but each member confesses to not always having used those talents for the Lord in the past. “Each of us has insight and testimony we would love to share with you and hope it is a blessing to all,” said Michael.

“God’s Country Band performances have been wonderful the last two years,” said Pastor Richard Bean as he prepares for the band’s third return performance. “Not only is the music fun and authentically country, the message is direct and pertinent to our congregation and our guests. If you love God and country music you really don’t want to miss them.”

The Clearlake Church of the Nazarene is located at 15917 Olympic Drive (at Highway 53) in Clearlake.
