LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – Rehearsals are under way for the Lake County Theatre Company’s production of “It’s a Wonderful Life: A Live Radio Play,” which will be performed at the Weaver Auditorium in Lower Lake in December.
This production of the heartwarming holiday classic is set in a New York radio station on Christmas Eve, 1946, with period costumes, live sound effects, and audience participation.

Bert Hutt joins the actors on stage as the play’s foley, or sound effects, artist. He is also technical director.
The play is under the direction of Linda Guebert, with Susan Krones as assistant director and Pollyann Johnston as producer.
