Tallman Hotel, Blue Wing Saloon to be closed in January for renovations

UPPER LAKE, Calif. – The Tallman Hotel and Blue Wing Saloon in downtown Upper Lake will be closed for three weeks in January for renovations.

Owner Bernie Butcher said they will be completely renovating and upgrading the kitchens in both the hotel and the restaurant, and making a number of other improvements.  

The hotel reservation desk will continue to be staffed during construction, Butcher said.

Butcher said the Tallman Hotel will be closed Jan. 2-25, while the Blue Wing will be closed Jan. 2-26.
