LAKEPORT, Calif. – Skylark Shores Resort was recently awarded the Storefront Presentation Award by the Lakeport Main Street Association.

This award is presented to businesses in Lakeport who offer a store or business front that is neat, creative and appealing.

Located at 1120 Main St. in Lakeport, Skylark Shores is one of the oldest motels in Lake County. It has been a favorite destination for fishing enthusiasts and vacationers for many years.

In the past few years, the Skylark has been remodeling and upgrading their facility.

“We chose Skylark for this award because they have a beautiful entrance and grounds, friendly service, and a clean, inviting atmosphere,” said Lakeport Main Street Association member Sarah Delk.

The Lakeport Main Street Association is a nonprofit organization which follows the National Trust Main Street program.

The association's mission is to improve the economic health of downtown Lakeport, preserve its historic beauty and foster its small town friendliness.
