LAKE COUNTY, Calif. – The Lake County Association of Realtors (LCAOR) is pleased to announce that Leslie Appleton-Young, vice president and chief economist at the California Association of Realtors (CAR), will present “Why Homeownership Makes Sense: Opportunities in Lake County.”
Appleton-Young oversees the analysis of the housing market and brokerage industry trends at CAR.
The presentation will be at 3 p.m. Friday, June 12. It is part of the Homeownership Expo, which will be held at Fritch Hall in the Lake County Fairgrounds, 401 Martin St., in conjunction with the Spring Fair on June 12, 13 and 14 from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m.
The homeownership expo is being held in conjunction with the Spring Fair. Admission to the Spring Fair is $5 per person.
In addition to Appleton-Young’s presentation, the Homeownership Expo will include presentations on the following topics on Friday:
– 2:15 pm: Water Conservation, usage and moratoriums;
– 4 p.m.: Purchasing land in Lake County;
– 5 p.m.: Lake County tax assessment with County Assessor Rich Ford;
– 6 p.m.: Lake County’s Right to Farm Ordinance.
