LAKEPORT, Calif. – The Lakeport Parks and Recreation Commission will hold its next regular meeting on Thursday, Aug. 3.

The meeting will take place beginning at 3 p.m. in the conference room at Lakeport City Hall, 225 Park St.

The commission will get a report on Library Park, including the Federal Emergency Management Agency repair projects update, a review of the “Shakespeare at the Park” performances on July 29 and 30, and the Lakeside Car & Boat Show on Aug. 18 and 19.

Members also will discuss the Aug. 5 Grillin’ on the Green fundraiser at Westside Park and the soccer leagues set to start at the park on Aug. 26; the Westshore Pool, which closes for the season on July 30; and the new city walking path.

Under new business, the commission will discuss commercial uses in Library Park.

The commission’s members include Ann Blue, Kipp Korr, Suzanne Lyons, Suzanne Russell and Cindy Ustrud.
