Senate Bill 1, the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 provides additional revenues for transit infrastructure repair and service improvements.
SGR guidelines will describe the general policies and procedures in carrying out the reporting requirements and other statutory objectives of SB 1.
Caltrans will host two public workshops with the California State Transportation Agency to discuss the draft guidelines for the SGR Program, the Transit and Intercity Rail Capital Program and State Rail Assistance Program.
The workshops are scheduled for:
- Los Angeles: 10 to 11 a.m. Friday, Sept. 29, Caltrans District 7 Building, Room 1.040A, 100 South Main St.
- Sacramento: 1 to 2 p.m. Monday, Oct. 2, Caltrans Headquarters Building, 1120 N St.
